MIL and R4 Fuse question
After driving around for a while with the CEL and not hitting my 2nd cam, I decided to run my OBDII check. Found out I was running a P0012 (over-retarded camshaft) error. I traced this down to my R4 fuse (ECU Battery Feed) being blown (hopefully, haven't driven it yet to see if it goes away).
My main question is, what can cause that to blow. I've read jump starting can do it, but I haven't done that yet. Any other known caused which can blow the fuse, or I was just chosen today to randomly blow a fuse? TIA for any comments.

I don't think anyone has come up with a definitive answer on what would cause R4 to blow other than jump starting. Maybe a combination of electrical draws or something switching on/off at just the right piont in time.
All I know it that with R4 out of action the cam position readback in the ECU goes haywire. There is still power to control the cam phasing but the signal it uses is out to lunch.
