Non-Flashing CEL and limp mode?

Hi guys,

Got a non-flashing CEL after installing S111's decat pipe (even though I had a CEL eliminator as well, maybe not working or wrongly installed).

Don't have access to an OBD reador at the moment so guessing its related to that.

Anyway do these cars go into limp mode only on a flashing CEL, or maybe certain codes, versus always going to limp mode when the light comes on?

Thanks in advance!

P.s.: please save me some time, where is the OBD port in case I manage to get a hold of a reader tomorrow?

limp is flashing only, solid are emissions problems only.
