Oil pan plug....
I have just changed the oil on my 05 Elise and I was going to replace the oil pan plug with a new a new plug that has the connection on the end so I could hook up my oil pressure gauge. The plug came with 3 bushings and not one of them are the right size or the right thread.Where can I find either the right bushing or another plug with connection that would fit right in without any bushing?Pep boys, advance auto zone even the Toyota dealer did not have one, the said it was a unique size and I was going to have trouble finding it.I heard that there is a sensor on the block to hook the wire to if there is I missed it.How are some of you hooking up your oil pressure gauges?
Thanks.... ![]()

I may have misunderstood, but you cannot get oil pressure from the pan, only oil temp, as prev post says.
To get oil pressure, I usually add a T fitting where the oil pressure light sending unit is and add the oil pressure sending unit or line.
