Should this bracket on the suspension be bolted to anything or just floating in air?
On my 2005 Elise, the bracket pictured below is on both the driver and passenger side suspensions in the wheel well.
On the driver's side, it is bolted to a metal piece above. On the passenger's side, it is floating in the air (pictures below). Is it supposed to be connected to anything on the passenger's side? |

Yes, those arms are go to an ABS module on the driver's side of the car, but Lotus only makes identical brackets, so on the passengers side it just hangs, check the drivers side and you'll see what I'm talking about...
