Thermostat stuck open??

The last two days (ambient 72°F) it has been near impossible to get my car to maintain operating temperature. If I was crawling (mostly stopped) it would reach 180°F, but as soon as traffic started flowing, it would drop below 158°F and then the display would disappear. Of course I would lose the second cam at that point.

I'm assuming the thermostat is stuck open? Anybody ever change one on an Elise before? Am I going to need to learn some new bad words?

Thanks for the reference Larry... I can see this is not going to have a happy ending.
