On the topic of launch control: I thought Lotus frowned upon standing starts when determining warranty; and now they are aiding and abetting them?

I got this week's issue of Autoweek. There was a cover article on the Tesla, and a sidebar about kit versions of older Lotus 7's using cobbled together parts. Nice issue, nice article on Tesla.

I was wondering the same thing about her method. I can't remember now where I saw it, but her method was definitely not the way I remember seeing it. Or perhaps my memory isn't what it used to be ;-)
