C & D Elise vs sc

Anyone see the lap times of the Elise SC in the new Car and Driver? 7.4 seconds slower than a sport pack Elise. I would think the extra power would more than offset the reduced grip on a high speed track.

Yes, I saw it too. Dismal results by the Elise SC. Beat out by the BMW135i and neck-and-neck with 4000+lb Challenger? WTF? The NA Elise was running with the big dogs in the prior test. I don't get it but, happy with my 2006 Sport.

Car is at PES now. If it's done by then, then yep, but I don't think there's a good chance it will be.
