Exige S240 in SCI

Just finished reading a nice little article on the Exige S240 in the November SCI magazine. Very positive impressions from a driver that took the car around the Nuburgring. The article was brief but a good read. Unfortunately, it turns out that this is the last issue of the magazine. Too bad because they seemed to have a good amount of Lotus coverage

Sports Car International has always been a great read for cars of all makes. They were one of my favorites and it's too bad to see them go.

Any link or .pdf of the article? I looked at SCI Magazine and it displays the issue for November and I didn't see anything about the S240. Looking at back orders, are you speaking of the May '08 issue?

It's the current, November '08, issue. The table of contents is here:

SCI Magazine

The article is entitled

Thrill Seeker
We drive a Lotus Exige S from the UK to Germany's Nürburgring for some laps

Unfortunately the article is not available online.

According to a column written by the publisher, the magazine has never been profitable so they finally decided to pull the plug on it. The remainder of current subscriptions will be filled with issues of Excellence magazine.

Great...that was my next question as I haven't received my November issue and was wondering how the remainder of my 3yr subscription would be handled...So what happens if I am now turned on to porsches??? I will heave to tell them that 2 1/2 yrs of Excellence won't do for this Lotus owner..

I've been a suscriber of that magazine since the late 80s. Although I never really got used to the latest editor's prose, the photography was fantastic.. I'll miss the magazine.

- Allen.
