Nice Exige Article in Hemmings Sports and Exotics

This month. In fact the cover has a Chrome Orange and White Exige on the cover.

Q:Where can I find Hemmings Motor News on the Newsstand?

A: We sell Hemmings at most Waldenbooks, B. Dalton, Barnes & Noble, and Borders bookstores. To find other newsstands that offer Hemmings Motor News for sale across the United States and around the world,

https://www.hemmings.com/index.cfm/f...ewsstands.main

Westlake Newsstand
3835 Thousand Oaks Blvd
Thousand Oaks, CA 91362 USA
Click for a Map

i'm guessing that ones the closest for you i'm popping across the street to see if they have it

Just picked one up today at Barnes & Noble, great article. More of the universal praise for the car. They even mention our favorite website as a forum, gotta love that.

Sorry I don't have my scanner up and running right now or I would scan it in.

I've been a subscriber since their premier issue a few months ago. It's now my favorite car mag.

Okay, Charliex, since you replied in a rather personal way to this thread, I'm not going to ask you if you work for Hemmings, but you have to tell us the story behind your animated avitar.

PS: I thought Hemmings originated in Tampa, my home town.

I noticed that in the spec page for the article, it lists the Exige (according to the article pronounced 'ex EESH'---glad they cleared that up) as having power steering.

Really?

Best One Yet!

I've bought every magazine that has any mention of an Exige and I've read all the articles. I thought this one was the best of them all.

Thanks bringing this issue to my attention.

Saw this in the grocery store today and skimmed the Exige review. The article had a Pros and Cons sidebar. One of the Pros was that above 80 mph it felt like Ted Kennedy was on the roof. Guess that's refering to the added downforce. Personally I wouldn't want Ted Kennedy on my roof. Especially if I'm driving over bridges.

Met Kennedy some years back. He won't be doing much racing in an Elise I can tell ya. His head is..HUGE. It's almost cartoonish. So there is no way he can use a normal helmet.

Hemmings Sports & Exotic Car

The cover of the August issue has an Elite, Seven, Elan & Esprit on the cover and an 8 page article about Lotus. There are interviews with three Lotus Ltd members all who seem to get it. Lots of plugs for both the new and old cars.
