Tribute to 60 years of Lotus in EVO
With a photo of the first Evora to come off the production line on the cover, and about 20 pages of stories highlighting lots of Lotus cars and history, this is a nice issue. It's on the stands now, but it seems to be a December '08 publication.

The video that goes with the article is a litte screwy in its facts. It calls the Elite a 1951 model. Nope. Also mentions the M100 Elan...said it was good for the company. I don't think so. Wasn't a financial success, and wasn't it built for only a year before they sold it off to a Korean company?

I'm still trying to figure that out too. The welcome message that's been there for the last several months was written by dascrow, who was an Autoforums administrator, but no longer is. When they finally removed his message, random posts have been appearing.

In the usa it was only built for year, but there are other countries !
Selling it off to kia may have made it more of a success. gm also took care of a lot of debt
