If he insists on wearing a flat cap, he needs a pipe.
If he wears a flat cap and smokes a pipe, he should be driving a Porsche.

It is nice to see someone making an effort.

It does not look like they have Top Gear's budget or even Monster Garage

It is a lot of work to even do that much.

I could not believe that the guy was bitching about not having a passenger side window switch on the drivers side

How many different accents does that guy go through? And the "non-bearded" driver says, "It's not an easy car to drive... at low speeds you have to muscle the steering wheel." Either he's light in the loafers or is unfamiliar with pickup trucks of the late 60's since mom was tripping on LSD about that time.

It is not bad, Some of their shots of the car were actually quite nice.

The intro is way too long, it loses too many viewers. The beginning of the clip is the most important part. Your job with the beginning is to throw a hook and make them want to watch to the end.

He does need to tighten up some of the transitions (especially while inside the car while talking about the radio, etc...) It might be better if they show the items and not him at all here.

Maybe leave out some of the information they were including... like some of the silly comments (hard to drive, the window buttons, etc...) Maybe use info they can present as good, but show flaws; ex the tires that come with this machine are true gumballs, helping bring the turning g forces to an astounding ---, the down side is they will never make it to the second oil change.

And I always like to say "just because your computer gives you all those fancy effects it doesn't mean you need to use them ALL in your short video clip".

DC Grading scale rates this a solid B-. If they submit a fine cut with the revisions, I am sure it could reach B+ to A level

I would like to see the releases for the music and movie footage ;o)

And take it to a track for crissake! Show us what the thing can really do!

InnamorAuto (part 1)

Hey guys!!

This is Ittai Geiger (the dude with the funny cap, facial hair, weird accents, and should have had a pipe... apparently )

I wanted to thank all of you all for taking the time to watch our first episode and even more so for all your comments!

I agree with all of you that our first episode was rough... but we have made two more episodes and the progress (I think) has obviously come along ways. I am sure all of you if not many of you are Top Gear fans.. this of course was our inspiration to make the videos.

Here is what I posted on the FinalGear.com forum...

InnamorAuto (part 2)

"Before Top Gear America hit the rumor mill, my buddy and I decided to make matters into our hands due to the lack of indulgent and nutritious AMERICAN automotive shows at the caliper and standard Top Gear/Fifth Gear have set, and create our own!

We're just two young guys from Northern California, who are not only card carrying members to the Top Gear aficionados club... but also, ravage-obssesive car and motorsport enthusiasts who have a passion of sharing our thoughts and knowledge with the rest of the community.

With that being said, we wanted to take the influences and the things we enjoyed about TG and apply them best as possible to our own videos... And as we write, direct, edit, film, produce them ourselves, it has been quite a challenge doing so on our College student budget (which is non-existing.)

But we have fun doing it and we hope you have fun watching !

Please, please, please leave feedback and any comments you have (both good and bad ) so that we may make our videos better so that you may enjoy them even more!

Thanks for watching!"

We also had an adventure at the 2008 Pebble Beach Concurs d'Elegance... where we interviewed Jay Leno... as well as "Pierre," the infamous test driver for Bugatti, at the unveiling of the Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport.

Check out our page at GeigeSpeed's member profile and if you have a facebook, we would love for you to join our facebook group at http://www.new.facebook.com/group.ph...4456060&ref=ts

Thanks again everybody and happy motoring!!
