Hmmmm. On that 340R, does anyone know whether or not that handbrake can be fitted to the Elise/Exige? Arno?

In car vid of an Elise in Germany bombing along the backroads - ends up going off the road.

Guy doing 120 (LotusMPH) through town (on here? confess! ) ... when his dog then trys to escape.

Referring to that elise vid in Germany... No wonder he goes off the road. By the way he holds the steering wheel, he doesn't know how to drive. Left hand in the 1 o'clock position during a corner.. hahaa...
Cheers,
Skottoman

Yep, I've got that handbrake on my Exige. I haven't got any decent pictures at the moment because my centre console is at Lotus being trimmed in leather. Here's a picture without the centre console:

As you can see, I've modified it. I've cut open the holes in the sides exposing the mechanism.

The handbrake does seem to sit a little bit higher than the standard item (the pictures shows it in the off position). At first I was a little worried that it would get in the way of changing gear, but I don't have a problem with it.

I first had this fitted in my S1 Exige, I don't know whether fitting in the S2 is different, but these are the parts that were used originally:

340R handbrake LA340J0010F £119.79+vat
handbrake clevis pin LA075W6033Z £0.41+vat
screws (2 of) LA075W1081Z £1.00 (each)+vat

I believe the price of the handbrake has risen considerably since I got mine

I bet she just walked around in a parking lot filming and then stuck the camera in as someone else was driving away..

Seriously, I got some nasty private messages from people claiming **** like that!! So much for being nice. A friend asked for a walk around of the car since they live in Europe, who knew it would cause so much drama.

I saw. Thanks for the compliment! I met Nigel from Lotus over the weekend and he said he'd really liked what I'd done to the car. I was happy!

Rachel, what song is that in the background? How about the sirens at the end?

I saw the 14-15 video with you as well. "It's just a Mustang!" LOL, I bet somebody's feelings got hurt after hearing that!

I think that's the most expensive mustang in the world. I only hit it at 1 mph. It made for great video. The clutch was so bad in the 360 that it was impossible to inch along.

The song is Stay Fly by the Three Six Mafia and the sirens are an ambulance coming from the other direction. I left them in because they were funny.

I love tunnels/underpasses.
