Here are a few photos of the Dunnville track day hosted by Toronto's Gentry Lane on Saturday. It was my first track event (ever). The instructors were terrific and it was great meeting fellow Elise owners (10 Elises) and other auto enthusiasts. It rained pretty well the entire day. it didn't stop us from having a great time. The track was laid out with cones to mark turn in, apex and exit points so that really helped. I was surprised how well the car (and I) did in such wet conditions. I think the track bug has bitten. I definitely have to do this again.
ps. I got pulled over today first time for having no front plate. After waiting for the cop to check my licence etc he didn't even give me a warning. Instead we spoke for about 20 mins about cars including the Ferrari 308 he has. Cool guy. I think he was just curious about the car. |
