How do you spell AY ?? is it AY ? or EH ?

It depends a lot on what part of the country you are from.
If you are from Newfoundland or some of the other maritime provinces, it can sound like "AYE" or "AY".
In the west, it is a distinctive "EH".
If you are from Toronto, it sounds like "Why are you talking to me, don't you know Toronto is the only place that matters in the whole country?"
