Track Schedule 2007
Hi Everyone,
I wanted to let everyone know that I have the 2007 schedule for our lapping days. Chris, Ivan, & Maya were at our last Calabogie event last year and we had a blast. Dates are below, PM me if you are interested, there is a discount for doing multiple days. Saturday May 26th : Shannonville (Pro Track) Monday April 30th 2007 : Calabogie (Full Track) Monday June 4th 2007 : Calabogie (Full Track) Monday July 2nd 2007 : Calabogie (Full Track) Saturday September 8th 2007 : Shannonville (SMP Long Track) Costs*: Pay 30days prior to each event: Calabogie: $310/day; Shannonville: $220/day After 30 days: Calabogie: $330/day; Shannonville: $240/day Pay by March 15th: Package #1 (All 5 Events): $1300. Package #2 (2 Calabogie & 1 Shannonville): $820 *Taxes are charged on all prices All dates include BBQ lunch and refreshments (sorry no beer...lol) We picked Monday dates for Calabogie as last years comments were that it was a long trek from T.O. and many preferred to drive in the night before. We are planning on doing two alternating run groups giving you about 3.5 hours of actual track time. (9am - 5pm) Group 1. Standard lapping with designated passing zones Group 2. Super Solo : which is lapping with open passing. To qualify for super solo you must provide references of past track history for us to verify your experience. This group is designed more for club racers and highly experienced lappers. There are 20 spots for each group (Shannonville allows 24 cars on track, Calabogie : 40 cars). If you are interested please PM me your dates and which group you prefer. It's going to be a fun summer. Online registration and payment is now available on the bimmershopracing.com site Look forward to seeing you all. thanks Amit Last edited by djafactor : 02-19-2007 at 07:36 AM. |

Thanks for the bump Amit, I actually missed this thread when you originally posted. (was away for the week)
Does this mean you are not doing Mosport or this year? Also, will we be running the full course at shannonville? Count me in for most of, if not all of those dates, what is this discount you speak of? If you get an Exige S, I will worship you. Ivan and I are prepping for possibly Supercharging our Elises right now. It is wayyyy cheaper and better for us to do vs. trading up to an Exige S. The Exige is a damn sexy machine though ![]()

Hey Chris,
Shannonville is the full course as well. Unfortunately even though i had MoSport reserved cash was tight around xmas to commit a deposit. I'll see how the first couple of dates go and may still plan a mosport outing. The discount for booking all events will be nice. I'll have the details up on the website in the next couple of days. I don't think the exige is in my cards for quite a while bro. I read about who easy and inexpensive it is to supercharge your Toyota motors. I'll definitely be looking for an elise in a couple of years so you guys go ahead and figure out all the right mods i'll need I'll be going for a British Racing Green with Gold BBS style wheels...mmmm Right now I'm in the middle of restoring the classic MINI so looks like it will be a while before I can afford an elise.cheers Amit |

It is about a 4.5 to 5 hr drive. Well worth it for the track though, world class. We like to drive up the night before, grab a motel room then drive home after we finish at the track.
