Why is Canadian Elise Temp in F?

I find it odd that in the Canadian Elise the temperature display is shown in fahrenheit where as all the other gauges are shown in metric. With the LCD display you would think it would have been easy to convert to Celsius.

Is it because the Canadian Elise is a converted US Federal Elise?

Probably and I'm sure our regs don't require the temp to be converted.

I suspect its more likely someone thought Canada used F and didn't check! Every non north american Elise I've seen has C

Probably because -40 F and -40 C are equivalent and they thought that's how could it is up here year round.
