The 5th Annual Motor4toys Charity Car Show

Motor4toys Charitable Foundation Presents:
The 5th Annual Motor4toys Charity Car Show
Sunday Dec. 7th in Warner Center.
Motor4Toys for more info and to register, there will also be a master list of people and conversation about the event here: http://drivenworld.com/forums/showth...ted=1#post7374
We are on year five, can you believe it?! It is that time of year to start putting the event together; we have changed locations and moved the event to the Anthem Building in Warner Center. We are expecting over 5000 cars this year and our target goal for toys is 25,000! That’s right, 25,000 toys…!!!!!!!

If you would be interested in Sponsoring the event or donating products/services or your time, we would love the help. Please remember that this event is 100% charity.

nice..

i'll probably be there as well. i was there last year, and got to meet some very cool people and check out some super sweet rides.

the only downside to last year, was that the Lotus (and british car group) were separated.

there were some Lotus cars parked with the british car group, and the rest of us were moved over to the visitor parking area (about 25 other elise/exiges). It would be nice if we could all park together this year.

There was one there, we just had him park on the other side so as to not mess with the continuity of the color scheme. It would stick out like a sour thumb.

Guys,

Great to see that you are once again coming......THANK YOU.

Make is a party, invite everyone you can. We could really use the help this year.....

Also, on Nov. 16th, if you come to VCR we are having our annual TOYS R US run to pick up the toys we will be bringing the day of the event. We will have a full LAPD escort to Toys R Us and some of us are going to head to malibu for lunch after. We will leave VCR at 10am sharp. TOYS R US will have parking for us set aside. We will go in and ransak the place...it is a blast. Hope you can make it.

D

Larry, if you could set up a meeting point for you guys to all come in like last year, that would be brilliant.

+ 1,000 That was pretty weak - We even had the amazing Stig Sector 111 car in our group (before it was totaled ) And still we were banished to the far visitor parking lot ! Meanwhile the British section of the show was full of riced out BMW Mini's with flat panel TVs in back playing xbox games

If they can let us know beforehand if we will be able to park in the British section then I will go for sure, otherwise if we are going to be treated like we are Honda Civics again I will probably just come up in our passenger car (with toys) and walk around. It was kind of nerve wracking having the Pontiac GTO and Chevy groups rushing and cutting us off to get the best parking spots in the visitor parking lot, I witnessed some very close calls ! Not worth the risk for me if the car is not even going to be in the show...

I know this is all about the kids - but still it was very disappointing , we were organized , arrived as group with people having traveled up as far as Orange county! We arrived on time, in a line ,with a designated leader and were turned away and told we could not park in the British section - but we could fend for ourselves in the visitor parking if we wanted, which by that time had turned into a free for all ! ( From the Picts above - the actual car show was on the other side of that building in the background separated by a road with hedges)

Great!

Go to the website and print out the sign up sheet. Fill it out and have it with you when you arrive there.

Get a $10 toy and bring it as admission.

remember, the event is in a new LARGER place in Woodland Hills this year.

And...tell your friends at other sports car websites about it!
