Dude, trust me. I got 2 hours of sleep. Woke up at O'Dark-Thirty to drive 95 miles to Rosamond to ride my racebike at Streets of Willow all day with Keith Code's Superbike School. Put 70 miles on the track (for reference, Streets of Willow is only 1.3 miles per lap) I am so wind burned and dried up and tired and sore... it's not even funny how bad it is.

For my troubles? I had a bike with a faulty charging system that died on me a few times (WHILE BANKED IN A TURN!) and a finicky fueling system that decided it wanted to shut off (AGAIN, IN A TURN)... but at least I didn't crash like a few unfortunate people. One guy broke a wrist. My buddy who went with me crashed hard and totalled his bike pretty much but he's okay, just bruised and battered.

There was a car thing today at Big Willow though, I think maybe Redline? Lots of Porsches and M3's and S2k's and a cool MR-S, 1 black Ariel Atom, 1 Caterham 7(!), few S15 Silvias, 1 GTR, and lots of Corvettes.

Then there was something at the drag strip and saw a few funny car looking... ummm... cars... burning it up with huge rubber smoke plumes while you hear the monster engine revving it up.

Very cool motorsports day overall there.

I don't think I will make it.. Work has been exhausting this week and sleeping in would be nice.

I would like to go but yeah, sleep might be taking priority. Waking up at 0500 hours is taxing. I don't even wake up that early for work!

I think I'll be there. Someone from MBWorld is bringing his 2 days old (and first in the US) C63 AMG Black Series that I really want to see. I used to own a C63 before I switched to the Lotus.

I usually get there around 6:30. Last time we hung out until 8:30.
