The Hollywood display event was a mess - cars told to get there between 5 & 6PM and then display cars were not allowed in until 7PM, no one knew what was going on etc etc. Then to crown it all off, at the end of the night they refused us entry to the party (even though we had the correct display wristbands) under the pretense the event was "overcrowded" (this was 15 minutes after the party started). So if you go to the SD event don't be surprised when you can't get into the party .....
All round it was a waste of time |

Said to be there at 9:30 AM and the gumballers would show up at 2 PM. Well, I was standing around with two others cars until about noon. At 6 PM the gumballers actually showed up. Some little blonde british twit kept trying to tell us where we could and could not be. The original communication said we could get in another person to the party with a wrist band, but it ended up being just yourself. So I went and started collecting wrist bands. ![]() |

Yeah that last minute change about the wristbands was ridiculous, but despite that on the inside the party was out of this world. Got to meet a bunch of amazing people, made some new friends, and once inside the bottle service area people were just offering us drinks left and right.
Truly a night to remember

I wish...beers were 5 bucks, drinks were 13. Like I said though once inside the bottle service area random people were offering us drinks so it all worked out in the end
