I like to play dirty!

Group of my friends went to Rabbit Lake Bed somewhere in East Bumble****, CA somewhere past Apple Valley. Huge dried out lakebed with a hard clay surface with dust as fine as flour. I stopped by Serebo1's body shop and saw at least 6 of Lotus' getting body work done. and his guys helped me clean out my engine bay. He suggested i post some pics on here:

Gotta set the Active Center Differential to "Gravel Mode" first

Miles of flat surface

This clay surface is fun to play on. Surprisingly your tires do "screech" going across its surface:

Lakebed tires

The aftermath

Preliminary video of us playing. I'm in the graphite gray car with blue tape around the wheel wells and also the gray car being chased by a moving camera car:

Nice meeting you too! Hopefully, i won't have to pay a visit to your shop, but i will keep you in mind! I'm going to call NBC and have them setup a reality TV camera crew at your shop since you have more drama there than i see on the show American Chopper on Discovery Channel

Arguing with an engineer is like wrestling with a pig in mud. After a while, you realise the pig is enjoying it.

Might not be a bad idea, as long as someone has their finger on the *bleep* button at all times. Oh, and a couple armed guards might not be a bad idea. BTW - in deference to Mopho - it's not my shop, it's Steve's.

LOL! That's funny your car was the first thing I thought of when Simon came to pick me up this morning. Accept of course his interior wasn't the same color as the exterior like yours Charlie.

Simon looks like you guys had a blast. Wish I would have tagged along now. Can you find out what program your buddy did the titles with? And what effect that is.

I sent Alan a PM last night asking him when he bought the place, but he just confirmed my suspicions; he is living there and working off his flat black debt by cleaning toilets, mopping floors, etc.. He said he is sleeping under a makeshift tent made up of discarded Elise clams. A mix of fiberglass shavings and Bondo act as a cushion under the old canvas tops he's using as a bed.

Sorry Alan, I had to tell

Very cool video. I can't believe the amount of dust coming off the back of them! Neat how you see the airflow of the ginourmous wings in the dust.

Sorry Alan, you know I can't help myself

Now you need to go try out a RallyCross race. I sold my Elise to buy an STI that I'm running in the National Series and numerous regional series and have been having a lot of fun and learning a lot.

I like tarmac rallying as much as gravel. It's more akin to real world driving
