Lotus mechanics near Huntington Beach

Does anyone know of a good mechanic/shop near the Huntington Beach area? I saw one mentioned somewhere on the forum a while ago but I can't seem to find it. I'm thinking of a new exhaust system and a couple of other things that exceed my limited mechanical abilities.

Lotus Newport Beach California : Exige : Elise : Club Car : Orange County Lotus Dealer : Newport European Lotus

(888) 817-2884

Excellent people all around, I took my car there for routine service and warranty seat rail replacement and they were top notch !

Be sure to go the service center not the show room, the service center is near
the beach down in Newport

Guess I wasn't clear. I actually bought my car from Newport, and they are great. I'm looking for an independent, not factory repair work (new car anyway.)

Bought my first Exige S there and had them service both my S1 (1st one they had seen in person) and my both my Exiges. Great service. Newport figured out that Calabasas had installed the wrong injectors (for the NA car, instead of FI) when replacing my motor under warranty last summer. Also found some vaccum leaks that others couldn't. So eventually solved my intermittent lean code codition that had stumped some of the best for a while.

However, Newport was no help with track prep or wouldn't install aftermarket parts, even for reliability. E.g., wouldn't install RTDbrace from Sector111, admitting that the Lotus part would likely fail on-track, but no biggie, would gladly replace under warranty, assuming I survived the failure. So I resorted to driving all the way from Dana Point to Lotus Beverly Hills to get decent track prep and track support. Alas that dealership is gone, but the techs soldier on, as independents.

Well it looks like maybe there is nobody in your area? So in the spirit of being helpful I think the closest guy to you would be Qais at Autohaus in Manhattan Beach area 310 200-0022 4875 W Rosecrans Ave 90250, then further north is Mulholland Motorsports 310 360 0948 at 8630 w pico blvd 90035 or what about Sector 111 down in Temecula ?
