actual drive! up to the overlook at mulholland. then over to neptune's net for a tasty fried lunch!

thanks to the rain the day before, it was quiet up in the malibu canyons.

i can't speak for any others but i'm in. stay tuned for the venue tho as we might change it per my earlier post to coincide with the classic car meet already taking place across the way at Starbucks.

one of the other depressing things of the previous meet was people don't always post if they are or aren't showing up, so sometimes you go and no one shows and you're the only pathetic one sitting in an empty lot having a great time with your lotus and your cup of coffee. at least by piggy backing to another on-going and well established meet, you will never have to be by yourself and make the most of your time with the other cars and owners.

there's a main row of cars that show up for this meet and we'll park behind that row as to not take over all their space. it's like when a bunch of riced out integras show up to Cars & Coffee in Irvine. not suggesting that we're of comparable offensiveness but we're still just guests of their meet and should be polite

i'll try to get there a bit earlier around 8:30 and park in an area we should all stick to.

UCLA fans fart real loud about last weeks game but SC fans know the Notre Dame battle is the one that actually matters every year

i think the new venue worked out really well. all the regulars at the MDR Million Dollar Breakfast Club were happy to see us attend, so I think we'll make this Startbucks meet our new home for the weekly Sunday MDR Lotus Meet.

Next week, however, is the Tators for Tots event up in "The Valley" so i guess many of us will be headed up there.

As for UCLA... I am no fan, because I don't watch sports in general, but I am a Bruin so it's a matter of principle that we beat USC. I could care less about the rest of the season.

As for farting... hey, say all you want, we still won. So if we happen to fart louder, well... guess what... we still won.
