Maybe this should also be in the Meets & Events or Roadtrip sections? Can't wait for this drive and getting to see all the old British sports cars !

The total drive time, excluding any stops, is about 1.5 hours (I've done it about six times).

Most people will likely make a picnic lunch stop at Bear Divide. Allowing for a 1 hour for lunch stop, total travel time (drive + picnic stop) will add up to 2.5 hours.

Figure you'll be at the end of the drive route (Osborne Street at Foothill Blvd, about 1/8 miles from the 210 Freeway) by about 1:00 pm +/-. Otherwise, if you skip the stop at Bear Divide and drive straight through, you'll be at the end of the route by noon +/-.

A big "thanks" to everyone that attended today. We had an interesting mix of British cars. A total of 17 cars (25 people) turned out. There were 7 Lotus (6 Elises & 1 Exige), 6 MGs, 3 Triumphs, and 1 Jag.

The weather was terrific and the roads were clear (except for the one CHP bike which spooked us). The lunch stop at Bear Divide was incredibly windy and chilly - kind of weird!

Pix below: 1) Cars gathering; 2) Chris' 65 Jaguar XKE; 3) Where'd they all go? Waiting for the others...the old school cars have to pedal harder; 4) Lunch stop at Bear Divide; 5) Jim's '69 Triumph GT6 (there might be room for a blower in there!).

Thanks!

Great drive, cars, time, weather and people could not ask for more ! Thanks again for putting this together - more picts please from anybody who took some !

The cold wind up at the picnic spot was really strange, weather was supposed to be hot in the mid 80s ! We should do this more often , it is a great starting spot, awesome
roads, not too much slow traffic or cops, the destination and picnic spot are great and the drive back down is a lot of fun as well !

This was an awesome drive, and it was great to meet everyone. My wife and I had a good time. We were driving the BRG Elise. I'll post some more pictures as soon as I can get them from our camera.

Thanks for organizing it.
