I don't know MOST of you, but I ran into a Ducati "club" friend of mine the day ya'll went out on your girls run. He was beside himself.."Doooode..I saw like 4 or 5 of your cars today....but they were being driven by girls...what was going on!"

I'm trying to tell my girl she can take my car out next time this goes down....but she's scared. :-)

At any rate...congratulations on leaving your mark....my friend was beside himself..

The only time we stopped was when I showed the girls the camel and the zebras off Mulholland. We were too busy driving. Then there was the deer on the otherside of the guardrail on the bottom of Decker on the second hairpin turn.

April stated she never shifted so many times from 2nd to 3rd.

I hit Decker Cyn yesterday for a bit of practice. Had to slow down though when my passanger started to feel sick, lol, and got tired of trying to hold on. Do the 4 point harnesses help?

Anyhow, Kerri, I think next time I'm gonna try 1st gear on those u turns. I stayed in 2nd because I couldn't believe that I would need to go down to first on the street! Damn that road is tight! I think I'm gonna hit it again later this week, lol.

The first few times I had it 2nd and there was not enough power/ torque coming out of the turn. I know I have to throw it into 1st and keep it at the high end of the RMPs to keep the torque up and accelerate through the corner. This last time, when I come out the 1st curve and stepped on, just before I shifted to 2nd, I had the tires churp. That what I think made the deer left his head from gracing. I can't believe Rachel did not feel sick. Now that I think about it, I do not know she held on. With a bigger group it is hard to run through it like we did. I usually drive it when I am alone faster, 100% of my focus is on the road and car, and I do not have to worry about others in the group.

What makes this road a good road to drive is that is was paved about 1 year ago, so it is smooth and does not have the oils coming up like a freshly paved road.

Is it a fun technical road to drive, for which on Sunday I rode the bike down it. Thank goodness the MDR was not driving up it at the same we descending it. There were about 10 of us on bikes.

1st gear driving, goin too slow is worse than going too fast in the corners.
Thats it, I'm crashing you guy's next party.

To the corners, anybody been up page mill in palo alto towards skyline, pretty awesome road, some corners came at me a little too fast.

And if you think to can do what you say you will do, I agree, you will be crashing the party and your car. This sound like that testosterone
is speaking again, "I will prove the girls wrong".

You do not know what you are talking about unless you have driven the road. The corner is too tight. It can be driven in 2nd gear, but you have to no power to accelerate. The corner is 180 degree right hand turn up hill, at an 18% degrade. As soon as you come out it you have 100ft and then make the next 180% left hand turn. This includes staying in your lane.

Just reinforces the girls only drive. The objective was to have a fun drive, not prove anything to anyone else and learn the roads. And if we could learn from one another so much the better.

These roads are just minutes from my office or house, we could make a canyon run over my lunch break or when you headed out this way, just PM or call me.

Ok... Jeez, no need to bite my head off. I'm kidding half of the time anyway.

I will correct one sentence though, "You do not know what you are talking about unless you have driven the road." to "You do not know what you are talking about" <-- Now that makes sense.

Oh, how'd you know I do testosterone? See, I keed, I keed

Under "certain" conditions, they do move. Although, usually under those certain conditions, I prefer playing xbox safely sitting down at home with a bag of doritos.

I like kidding/ joking and causing as much trouble as possible. In the Youtube video linked to site, they were going down hill and shifted into 1st and the downhill side is not as steep as the uphill side due to the cantilever of the road.

I also do not have a turbo and was carrying a passenage, unlike the Exige behind, so I figure I was at a 50hp loss, power of weight ration. And April who had the Exige was talking about trying it in 1st, so the turbo may not still produce enough power out of the corner.

Oh, how'd you know I do testosterone? See, I keed, I keed
Because you have those things between you legs that keeps on pumping it out.

thanks but I HATE chrome rims plus thats a bit ostentatious, dont ya think?
On a curios note, why people are so fascinated by chrome rims in America? I see bimmers that have these big chrome rims, even on Mercedes, makes me puke. Is there any real reason for the chrome dipped rims?

And besides the crome degrades on the inside where the tire and rim meet, causing a bad seal. My Ferrari has NRE crome rims with black powercoat finish on the interior, and flicking front was leaking. Took it to a tire shop and had them smooth down the finish to get a better seal.
