Actually, the Lotus Esprit has been at that work site every work day since October 2011.

However, depending on the time of year, I park it in different areas.

In the summer, I park away from trees with a car cover (the area was obscured by trees from Montague, but last week, they cut down the trees for re-landscaping - you can now see it from Montague.

In the fall/winter, I park in direct view of Montague because that's the closest entrance to my office (best when it's raining). And I don't use a car cover in the fall/winter - too much hassle with keeping the car clean (it can go 1-2 weeks without a wash).

It may be heresy but it's a daily driver so I don't wash it if it's going to rain 2 days later. The periodic rain has it out to 'unwashed' for 3 weeks now - I may have to do it this weekend regardless.

I got nearly 14K miles in 14 months - even in the daily commute, I have alot of fun with the car; the most fun car I've ever owned.

Sorry - won't be there.

I was a GGLC member for a full year, but never got a chance to hang out with the GGLC folks (my wife keeps me on a short leash).

Will probably renew my membership - I like the newsletter, but keep forgetting to do it (expired in November)

My route is Capitol Expressway-680 South- Montague Monday-Friday

FYI I have seen a gray Elise parked at Qualcomm on Junction Avenue (1/2 mile from my work). Of course, with Dietschwerkes another mile down the street, Lotus cars are common in this area.

black or storm titanium elise with angel eyes cruising with me and my friend's evora all the way from Wolf - 280 - 880 and waved, you probably didn't see me waving cuz my windows are tinted. it was fun
