My girlfriend actually spotted this one for me when I was driving. Ardent red Elise traveling northbound on El Camino in San Mateo by Hillsdale mall yesterday at around 3pm.

I've spotted both a yellow and white Elise in the Intuit parking lot in Mountain View over the past 2 weeks. My Ardent Red can often be found on campus as well when it's not raining and I'm not dragging my kids around somewhere before or after work.

I'm 99% sure that's my old coworker's 89 with Nova wheels - he also recently joined this site - "driveawedge"

Yup that was probably it. I only saw it from a distance.

Also spotted an Evora today driving past Google on Charleston around 4:45pm. It looked like it was a dark red color but I couldn't be sure.

My wife works over there and says Lotus cars are dime a dozen - she says there are a bunch of Elise and Telsas in the garage area (underground).

Yeah I don't bother posting all the Elise, Exige, Tesla sightings because they're too common. But an Esprit and Evora...that's news!

In Napa - 2 sightings - charcoal Elise @ 4PM Silverado trail 2/10. And a charcoal Evora - Calistoga @545PM. I was the guy in the red Esprit (Elise driver; Evora is parked).

I was in a restaurant on Valencia St in the Mission District (SF) and I looked up to see a yellow Elise drive by. This was at 2:40pm.

Oh, and saw a red Elise at Microsoft campus parking lot on La Avenida st. yesterday.

Track day "protection"? I hope for the Evora's sake that when the owner peels off the tape that the adhesive stays on the paint rather then the paint coming off with the tape. (a messy clean up beats a new paint job any day.
