Yeah, about Tj.

Being from Louisiana and partying in the dirty for mardi gras since I could walk and talk...TJ scared me.

Visited TJ one night and never wanted to go back. Did go back there for the bull fights, but did not get off the bus for anything but the arena.

I'd be up for a Saturday night meet as long as it didn't wind up in Tijuana!

OK, lady friend is in for doing her first AutoX. Will send payment here shortly.

If the stars align properly, I may have an operational Lotus, but for the time being I'll say it's out of commission indefinitely to avoid bruising my hopes... I'd be happy to take other peoples cars out for a run or two though...

I posted a thread about Saturday's dinner here
Saturday May 10th Dinner, San Diego

Let me know if you are coming to that.

Sunday night I don't need a head count, those that want pizza and beer can just show up. The pizza place can handle most any size group and its very close to Qualcomm.

Not for males. Women must be topless, sorry.. its the SCCA rules.

Seriously.. You must have shoes with toes. You can wear shorts and a t-shirt for autocross. Heck you don't even need a shirt. We do draw the line at thongs on guys.

The chance of a car ending in a fireball at an autocross is close to zero. Much less than the drive down on the freeway.

Simon,
I don't think stopping for breakfast is such a good idea. We'll be getting up early enough. When we get there they have a McDonalds next door to grab something while we set up.

Anyone else coming from the West LA area interested in driving down together?
