Chris (white Elise) & Chris from LA & Irvine took some shots and will hopefully post them. They just need to edit out those that I am in.

I was never driving (per doctor's orders). I was only riding and offering instruction in some
British right hand drive cars.

Seriously... I never drove very hard. More of a cruise at speed. Thanks for those "students" willing to let me try to demonstrate lines.

Hi Randy,

Thank you for pulling together such a great event. It was only the second time I had a chance to spend the day on a track and it was awsome! I also want to thank you for your instruction. My times went way down after you were in the car. It was a lot of fun to see what the Elise can really do on the track. I look forward to the next time.

Now it's very unsorted. The turbo kick was very unsettling on this particular course, coming on at the wrong times.
When i began my 2nd session, i noticed my tires were greasy as heck on the first 2 laps. Seemed like the tires needed warming up or something (didn't notice any greasiness when i started my first session though). Does this characteristic sound typical for a street tire after doing 1 hard 1 hour session, then resting for an hour, then going out again and the tires end up being really slippery afterwords? Sorry, for the stupid questions, but this is only the 2nd auto-x i've ran.

Oh, where' the pics from the event???

Question

I'll also add my thanks to Randy and the SCCA folks for organizing this. I really enjoy these practice sessions. I finally broke out of my plateau a few runs before the end, and was making good improvement. I was sorry to see it end, but I was out of gas anyway.

So, when is the next one? Does the local SCCA do these limited attendance events often?
