Here's the local SCCA site:
snakeriverscca.org - Home If you have a stock, nonsupercharged Elise, it would be in the SS class. A supercharged car is ASP. I didn't actually put the turbo in myself, but Nick and I have been talking about installing a supercharger on his. I have a lift at home to help with things. Right now I'm in the middle of taking my rear clam off to install a hinge to let me access the motor easily when I need to. Don't let any of that scare you. The stock cars are pretty bullet proof and require very little maintenance. Good, solid Toyota parts.

Not quite.
Ronnie's a good guy and a valuable resource. ![]() But just be sure not to stare at you know what, and never EVER call him Mr. Potato Head.

so far the only thing i have noticed it a sqeek in the brakes when i stop, but only at a very slow speed right before i stop. i am hoping its just dirty rotor. do you, nick, and who ever else is local ever do any get togethers? i see some other regions doing them. just curious. i checked out the website. i think when the 2009 schedule comes out i might come down and watch you guys race and see what its all about

to be honest i dont know. I bought the car from Fairlys. they are fixing a few things for me as part of the deal. i thought i would ask them when i took it down if they changed the pads. it only does it right before you stop and only if you are braking light. if i downshift and am going the same speed and then brake hard no noise. just if i ease into them

![]() The pads are way easy to change, if it comes to that later. You have to remember that these cars are as light as they are for a reason and it's not unheard of to have minor sqeaks and rattles. Some pads squeak more than others but I've found an application of some of those squeal-be-gone treatments works well... even with the racing pads I use. My car is on my lift right now and can't be taken off, but I can show you where to put the stuff if you'd like.

My car is on my lift because I'm taking the rear clam off to put a hinge kit on it. That way I can open and close it at will.

Hey Slaughtr,
My wife and I have been trying to get back to Boise for an event for a few years, but it seemed like the couple of occasions when schedules didn't conflict, your venues became unavailable or the event was TBD... We raced @ Boise State back when, but would like to try the Fairgrounds or Mountain Home AFB. What are those sites like?

![]() We don't use Mountain home but we have used Gowen field in the past. The new commander doesn't like our kind though and we couldn't use it last year. I like the fairgrounds better than the Idaho center. That lot is a bit cramped. Keep an eye on the Snake river website

This time of year I put together a spreadsheet with 15-or-so groups' schedules -- I'll add SRR, as soon as it's available.
Chris, those are Kodiak 3-piece wheels.
