It's great to have another local Lotus owner!

Keep me posted on meeting up somtime; it'd be fun.

I go to Miller Motorsports park too. I have a Shelby Gt Mustang and I chased an Elise on the track one day last year. I could catch it easily in the straights but turns... It would just walk away from me. I decided that day I would own an Elise for myself. Bought my saffron yellow early this year. I call ten my surgical knife and sledge hammer! Looking forward to track time with both this year.

Let's see if we can make something work out for a Lotus meet- what works better this month or next? I'm tempted to say next since the weather has been so stupid lately.
Opinions on where to meet up, day, time, etc.???

Will you be there for Lapping days on May 18th? We are going to the ALMS races and then a track day the following Monday.

how about June 13 6p. We can meet somewhere for dinner and convo or whatever.
I see the SCCA for 14 is cancelled so this won't interfere with any racing I don't think.

A couple of years ago, about 5 or 6 Lotus owners took a drive up to Idaho city on the weekend. It was fun.

The idaho city run is a lot of fun, and there are a couple of really good restaurants there as well. I forget what the name is but coming into idaho city from boise, its on the left hand side of the road. Get Dave's Mountain Man Burger. It's amazing.

I'm supposed to be going on a long ride sunday to which my friends reference 'The Lowman Loop', i guess we head up past Banks, through Lowman, and come down through Idaho City and then into Boise.

Just looking at the roads through there via google maps makes it look like a lot of fun

well apparently half the guys I ride with didn't remember that it was Mother's Day until late Saturday, so we didn't get to do the Lowman Loop.

We took off up Bogus Basin Road but as we got further up there was still a LOT of sand. I don't know how it would be in the cars, but sand + bikes is no good.

I'd love to meet up and get dinner/drinks/drive with you guys, so far I've only met Slaughtr

I have met Ronnie and Nick. Both were very nice. Ronnie was nice enough to let my wife and i ride with him for a lap when he raced. what a rush. Would June 20th work for people? i know for me now that i have looked at the schedule, that would work better for me, but i can make whatever

I'll have to look at my June schedule after LOG. I'd rather a daytime weekend drive that dinner myself. Enjoy the cars, that is.
