LoL I'm gonna pass.
Its mainly gonna be a bunch of kids wanting to get together and show off their mods. Now if it was a bunch of guys our age group or older getting together, I'm sure there would be a track event involved or some kind of entertainment other then looking at 20 Civics lined up next to each other and smack talking.

A few 6speeders and my350z guys are going to be going to this. For me it depends on when alex is doing the coffee thing in gug harbor. At least for the gig harbor get together I won't have to wash the car haha

The guy, John (aka Integrapunk), that organizes these meets is good people.
I usually attend his meets and committed on this one a long time ago ....... but, as it turns out, a Buddy of mine just made full Colonel and his wife is throwing a party for him that day, so I'll need to flake out this time
Sorry RB, rides next time we hook up, I promise

My Honduuh would fit in great there. Haha. I used to help organize those meets but ive been out of the loop for a while. I think im done with the generic multi board meets because of...

1) Huge collection of inexperienced drivers in a concentrated spot is bound to have accidents. I remember a few years back some guy just arrived with a Cobra he got the day before. Not even 30 seconds after leaving his car, he got side swiped hella bad in his rear quarterpanel as some tool in a beat up Hyundai parked next to him.

2) Usually get kicked out because we take up all the parking at an establishment or some d-bag does something stupid near by and pisses off the local police.

3) Hanging out with all the teenagers makes me feel older lol.

The Alki docks are a horrible place for the gathering spot if they are going there. The parking lot will not accomodate any crowd larger than 30 cars max on a weekend due to trailers from boats.

Nice.. I just wish they'd leave me alone on the street. Maybe if a ricer tries to race me I'll install like this plotter printer that prints out pictures of strippers like a decoy.. Why doesn't batman use this on the people who chase the bat mobile?

I went for lunch at Cafe Ori yesterday so im pretty sure that was me hehe. I was also in the area to get my car washed on Saturday. So who's blue elise was zipping around yesterday? I saw it not even a minute after spotting you in your orange one.

Hey guys,

not sure if any of you would be interested, but every year the British car club does a couple of "rallies". These are untimed events on wonderful roads. There is one that I did last year, and will again this year, that I thought some of you might be interested in.

We meet in Fife at a jaguar dealership. Then head East to some wonderful highway and then zig zag south through Rainier (we had to go around last year as it was closed). We go across the bridge of the Gods into Hood River Oregon. Typically, people stay the night at the lodge there.

At the starting point, they give you directions and such. The point is that you need to need to reach certain points on time. However, you don't know what that point, or what the time is. The closest person/car gets an award. Basically, it is just a bunch of car people out for a cool drive. There is time for lunch planned on the route, etc. My wife and I did it.

Sorry, that was a little long. I figured some here had not done a rally before. When I get the schedule I'll post it up. There were two Lotus' there last year, I was one of them. The crowd is mostly older people. I was on the young side of things. I'd say the average age (not counting child passengers) was about mid-forties. So it's no speed racer challenge or flashy thing. Just some cool cars out for a great drive.

laters,

Trevor
