Let's do a drive

Anyone interested in going on a drive this Saturday? I am somewhat new to Seattle and I am not familiar with any of the great driving roads near Seattle. My wife has a work related obligation and it looks like it is going to be a stellar weekend for a drive! I suppose it's also a good weekend to be on the water...

There are some great roads up here, but I don't care where we go.
Here's part of one of my favorites:

Just a heads-up, I saw cops on High Bridge Road a couple of weeks ago. A few years ago, the sport bikes (myself included) got so thick up there that they setup weekend-long speed traps along that route. I don't think they're up to that again, but who knows.

I gave up on High Bridge on the weekends not because of the speed traps, but because it's now a popular cycling route and very crowded on nice days.

yea, I haven't seen any cops yet this year, but it is hit and miss with the traffic, the earlier the better...

Dude (from what you've said), you would need some new tires to keep up anyway!

Let's pick a spot for a little grip and grin (that way truballa can make it) and take it from there!

HBR is awesome. But the weather this winter caused some changes. Last time I was there (a week or so ago) they still hadn't painted the lines on that section.

Speaking of stripes.

Spotted, Grey Elise with silver stripes, ten minutes ago at the corner of 132nd and Puget Park Drive in Mill Creek. Next to the new Safeway, heading east to Cathcart Way.

I have 18k on the ODO in one year, and about 30 track days now. I had 17k on the first Lotus. No garage queen here.

I can't go on a drive Saturday but I do plan on going to the photoshoot Sunday.

I am driving there. For some reason after watching "Deja Vu" I won't take a ferry with a car.

Despite the fact that my elise is an unbelievably horrid eye sore, my 03 nissan sentra is the beater car.
