Seriously, the VF II gives to the 2ZZ an amazing amount of power ! You can't have more without rebuilting the engine...

Any chance of you bringing it down to Exotics on Main in Redmond? That would make a for really great show.

I can see the Ferrari guys now, "your power to weight is *what*?"

Ummm... TVS

and in a more efficient manner I may add... you can get the same power out of a non intercooled tvs as with the vf2 and intercooler

Yea, I have yet to see any dynos to prove that point. And I don't need another ECU...

Maybe but you get to keep that power with an intercooled system! Oh yeah and as already pointed out, You don't need a standalone ECU!

As to needing a standalone-- some people *want* a standalone, because believe it or not, they like to change the tune to coup with different setups, tracks, etc... As you progress in your driving and engine knowledge, you may find value in such flexibility as well. No big deal if you don't though...

Furthermore, you're implying that one doesn't get to "keep the power" with our system, and you're mistaken. Every dyno plot that I've posted or have seen posted by others is after several consecutive pulls on the dyno-- not the first one like dyno queens kids who try to impress their friends with. This has all been covered and beaten to death-- which you know.

You can find track video of me and others running the TVS system on typical summer days still passing cars on the last lap of the session as well as the first. I see you poke and jab at our TVS system all the time, Z, and you are truly talking out of turn and with no experience with the system. I can appreciate that you're excited about hopping up your car and are going to be using the VF kit, but that doesn't mean you need to knock our work every time you see mention of it

Our non-IC'ed TVS solution is certainly comparable to the VFII system when it comes to laying down power and I'll speak for the TVS, in that it maintains that power in the toughest of situations- on the race track.

Glad you're happy with your setup Apex. Sorry to derail the thread.

Phil

Phil, I understand you are a businessman and are selling a product but this thread wasn't about the products that you sell, There are plenty of TVS threads and I made no mention of your product so no jab there You are correct about one thing, I have no experience with your product because I spent my money with Vision Function and am enjoying the Stage 2 and it's power level, Sure is fun to hang with the big boys now and I had a blast last weekend at Sebring, Now I will continue working on my driving skills instead of worrying about heat soak or tweaking a tune to improve my lap times. It's all about choice.
