I'd rather have the tax break for my federal taxes! But that is pretty cool anyways.

Nah, I'm good. But I do think a bunch of Lotus drivers should parade by the grand opening of the Tesla dealership in Boulder on Friday just to confuse the hell out of everyone

Don't forget-we also have incredibly generous state rebates for pv cell installations. I might go for one of those

This is supposed to be a tax credit right? Is it a one time tax credit for your state of Colorado taxes?

And if so, how many people owe more than $42k in their annual state taxes? Can this carry over?

If it can't carry over or be applied to federal taxes, it seems misleading to suggest people are going to get a $42k discount on the new car.

What's the highest state tax rate in CO anyway? Can't be anywhere near NY or CA

It carries over for five years. Opening event is tomorrow night--we'll finish up the store just in time. Previous tenant didn't pay the gas bill so we've been working in 40 degree temps
