HPDE Events near Denver? - LotusTalk

There is a chance I may be moving to Denver. Are there any HPDE events in the area? I see there is an active autocross community and an active Lotus community and this one thing that could swing the deal.

How near? Out here in the middle distance is relative

Heartland park Topeka is within a days drive as is MAM near Omaha. Both fairly busy tracks. A good starting point is looking at the PCA and BMWCCA local clubs websites for their DE schedule. It will give you a good idea of what's popular and their calendars.

Denver has a track problem, so really.. no.

But it's one of the best Solo communities in the country.. see rmsolo.org

We do have a track problem these days. 3 tracks closed in the past year. Although there's talk of building a new track, it will be a while before it materializes. You can find events in Pueblo, La Junta and a small highway patrol track in Golden. If you want to drive/trailer to tracks - Miller in UT and Hastings in NE.

I guess I am spoiled living very close to a track with a bunch of club days. I'll definitly have to take this into consideration during the negotiation. I'm thinking more vacation days and a trailer!
