Opinions on Sandia NM Track

All, I am thinking about going to Sandia this fall to try a new track. Has anyone been there? I'd love to get some opinions and see how it campares to Puebleo and (hopefully) High Plains.

Thanks for any of your input.

a group I used to race with had an event there.
I saw some in car video of the place and decided to pass on the event.
the track layout looks like good fun, but there is not any runoff in almost all of the turns.
to me it didnt look like a very safe track to go racing on.
the guys who went said it was fun, but I wouldnt make the trip if it were me.

here is a link to a video

there are some areas that the track just drops off on the edges into the dirt, and there rest is walls.

HPR looks like its a blast from what I have seen.

I raced for a season and a half at this track and still regularly do track days there... On my motorcycle.

The cars use the whole track rather than half of it like us, but there really isn't a lot of runoff and there are a couple places where you can hit a tire wall if you're not careful.

It IS a very fun and tight track though! I could see the Lotus really shining there.

Let me know if you end up coming, I'd love to go and watch!

Interesting vid! C'mon Beemer, try to pass the Cortina!

Does look a little scrubby in the runoff...
