Pueblo Track Day Nov 15th

Is anyone attending the FAASST event on Nov 15th?

FAASST Performance Drving and Racing School Registration

The FAASST events are generally well run and it looks like there should be good weather for what will likely be one of the last track days of the year.

It was a great day I mostly lapped with the faster group which consisted of around 10 cars. I got 6 sessions in.

It was a sunny day but the ambient temperatures were between 40-50 degrees.

I was out in my stock sport pack Elise scrubbing in a set of new RA-1's on the rear. By the end of the day they (the RA-1's) started to come in a little and the cold track wasn't quite so slick.

I managed to run in the '45's and was seeing an indicated 135 at the end of the front straight (I believe my spedo reads a bit high I'm guessing I was around 130 mph).

Wished I could have been there. How many drivers showed up? Judy mentioned there would be 50 or so.

I would guess it was somewhere around 40. There were 3 run groups (Beginner, HP/Advanced, and race car). I was mingling with the HP and "race car" groups all day and didn't get impeded by much besides a bunch of spinning small formula cars and some ZO6's that would tow me on the straights.

Judy runs a good program and if you run with the more advanced run groups there are enough places to get a wave by.
