Thumbs up Lotus Boise - BSU campus || parked and others

Hello,

I've seen a few Lotus cars around Boise. The first one I saw was in the parking lot at work. I have not seen that one for awhile though, maybe because they closed the parking lot where you parked? (This was probably about a year ago...)

The second one that I saw was on Broadway. It had rust looking racing stripes... (about a month ago???)

I have also seen an Elan parked in the parking lot at work this past week...

And the latest was today, parked on the BSU campus. Red in color and Florida plates. Also had white numbers on the windshield and passenger window.

I do not have a Lotus. Someday I'd love to have an Elise, but I have other priorities at the moment!

So... Hello to all the owners!

I believe this picture is actually a bit deceiving, if I remember correctly. While the car is parked behind the SUV, I'm pretty sure the SUV had a large no parking zone and cross walk in front of it. The SUV would be simply going forward to leave. In this parking situation, one shouldn't have to worry about the SUV backing up, but I know a lot of people would err on the side of caution.

The red car is Charlie and he autox's the car with me at the local SCCA events. I also saw a silver one the other day, but I didn't know who that was. We also have Nick, a red elise with a ginormous wing. We used to have kp, first with an Elise, then an Exige, but now he has a Cayman. I drive a BRG car. There is another BRG car in Eagle. You can spot his car because it has a yellow grill up front.

Oh, and I parallel park my car all the time.

I just purchased an 05 Elise with 3500 miles on it - picked it up in Portland and brought it to Boise this Friday. I live near the downtown and park it in my parking garage across from Cash and Carry on Shoreline Dr. Do any of you owners ever get together in Boise? Also has anyone done any aftermarket stereo work to their Lotus here in the valley? I am not looking for anything too crazy but I was thinking about putting a 10" in to make my classic rock sound a little better. Look forward to chatting with ya'all

Drew

Any other people from Idaho? If so, where?

I know his car was in Aurora last Saturday morning. But it lives in Arvada. We were looking for the Cars & Coffee.

There are two other Storm Ti 2005 Elises (Lotusport and DJason), one in Aurora, and the other in Louisville.

Maybe you guys should join Lotus Colorado...

I also have a ST Elise which is commonly driven around at Southlands and the Park Meadows area, and occasionally in Aurora. My Elise has a Gut wing and splitter and lately has had the soft top or no top on it.
