It was a blast, first track day ever for me and it was nice to drive the Exige in its element, driving on the street just isn't that much fun.

Thanks to Chotto for being a great instructor.

hmmm, new windows for the house or membership at H2R...

I'm glad you enjoyed it. You did great. You made huge improvements through the day. You started off slow and progressed as you became more comfortable. I wish more people did that as well. BTW-go for the track membership. I don't know one person yet who regrets it. It becomes your addiction.

Ya ever see that commercial with the guy pumping gas into his mini van and he says to the Harley rider "I was going to get a Harley, but got a dinette set instead." Now imagine what your statement is going to be each time your filling up gas in your Exige and someone comes up to you and asks "Do you drive it on track?"

Another way you can justify H2R membership is as an investment in safe driving training / practice. The only way to know the limits of a car and your skills as a driver is to do so in a safe environment, like H2R. And let's face it, your H2R membership can be paid for by just a few encounters with local law enforcement if you decide to engage in spirited driving in the Hill Country.

See ya out at H2R....
