Here is a little background on Jason Hart and this video.

Jason Hart is a Professional Driver Coach and is also a professional Race car driver. You can check out his info on his web page at Jason Hart Racing | Home.

In the video Jason is driving the black integra. He had just passed several cars through turn 17/16 and was about to overtake a BMW when the BMW's rear wheel studs broke. Jason then ran over the wheel and managed to catch some where between 4-6 feet of air. The impressive part is he never missed a beat and continued on like nothing happened. He did not even loose a position.

Holy crap. Did he finish Lemons? or was there any sort of damage to his car after that?

Nope they didn't finish, car was pretty much totaled after that. Flat front tire, broken shocks, busted radiator, ect.

Meh, I competed in the very first 24hrs of Lemons and sort of did the same thing after I hit a tractor tire

Sure does.. The judges bolted the tire to their roof as a penalty.

Is this the same one that's the track photographer at MSR-C?

I talked to him for quite a while the last time I was out there. Great guy! Ask him about the pictures on his wall some time. He's IN them, w2w racing BMWs.

The penalty isn't so much what they put on your car as much as it is the time you lose while they are attaching it

That was you? Nice! I remember following that car around for a few laps. Here's my team's car. We finished 5th! I can't believe the car lasted so long.

Yep that was my team... Funny thing is I could tell the people behind me were trying to hit the tail on the back of the car... Nice target for people to aim for..
