If you are in H-town on Wed. the 18th there is a car gathering at the Richmond Arms on Richmond. British pub, free snacks, great beer selection , and a number of Lotus people will probally be there. The next weekend on Saturday the Houston Lotus club (LOST) is having a track day at a track nearby.
If you cannot do either, just pick a date and we'll try to hook up.

There's a track day next Saturday? I thought it was MARCH 21? Are I confused?

The Toad club gathering in March also falls on the 18th. Step away from the bong lest you loose your photo spot on the Wheaties box.

Sorry it took so long to answer your question. I was going to visit Texas next week but i am unable to. I want to reschedule for the first week in April. i will call the dealers on Monday and coordinate a meet and greet at dealerships for those days. In addition if I could invite the local club members to these events that would be great. Our series on the west coast is growing even with the difficult economic times. Our next event at Spring mountain is sold out .
Our new Lotus Challenge Series website is up and I am loading information every day. There is a forum area just for the south series. Please feel free to be the first to post. . I am short 5 applications but I am sure when we develop a schedule that your people will want to attend.
The picture was of the series winners. You will be meeting them in a "championship" at some point in the future.

I received 4 more applications this weekend making the total 22. I am going to send each of you a participant package so you understand what the requirements and rules are to participate.
I am planning a trip to Texas the first week in April to meet with the dealers and club members. Hopefully many of you will be able to attend so we can start on a schedule of events. LCS is going to Texas!!!

Jim, could you give me an idea of what entries you have in what classes for the Texas series? That is, 6 stock, 4 modified, etc. (for example)?

Thanks

You'll kick my ass at Cresson. I think I'll be faster at Houston, Call TWS and HHR a toss-up, and I refuse to drive to Eagles Canyon - way too far.

Time to sign up

All future LVS south participants please go to MotorsportReg.com : MotorsportReg.com > Online registration management tools for driving and social events and become a member of the the lotus challenge series. This will give me better information to work with. I.e. classing, emergency contact number ,email data base. In addition, this is how you will paying for the events. This does not require you to pay anything at this time it just builds the data base for communication and event management. We are getting closer. Jim BTW this shinoos car.
