Thank you for signing up.
We run several event out here mid week to maximize track time. The cost to run a weekend solo event with 23-25 participants is prohibitive. If the group is ok with a typical track day of 4 or 5 20 minute sessions versus 4 hours then we can look into sharing an event with other promoters. Al, sorry to hear you cannot make it but we may have to change our direction and do what i just mentioned. Until you experience an LCS exclusive event and see everything we do it will be difficult to convince the group to go mid week. I am not changing the date at this point but if we don't have the minimum of 23 cars by October 6th signed up then we will reevaluate the our program in Texas. There is no risk to anyone that signs up. Jim

Chutto,
Thanks for asking but only one person has actually paid and we need 23 by October 5th. If we don't reach the number, we will reschedule the date after investigating what days works for the group. I have had suggestions of using gransport but the track is not what we would consider suitable for the series. The experience of the series is much more than your typical track day and we hope to prove it in Texas. In the mean time , keep practicing and check our website for our new 2010 rules. We are introducing a novice class as well as a spec class. Jim

No can do mid week, esp. after just spending a week at Road America at the Runoffs. Plus the car is not ready and I'm not in the mood for another thrash for a track event. Finally, may I suggest another venue. I prefer TWS, MotorSport Ranch, Eagles Canyon or even Hallett to MSR Houston. Harris HIll Road is another more intimate option for a smaller group. All are likely to be more convenient for most folks in Texas and the rest of the US, other than those in Houston. I personally HATE the tow to Houston. 5 hours including the central business district.
I would be willing to help organize and run the event at MotorSport Ranch, my home track. |

MSR-Cresson, H2R and Hallett are the most rewarding area tracks for our cars, very fun with elevation changes. TWS, is also very good, even though its considered more of an HP track.
