You can get a discount for 10 people. Call Rick and ask him about it.

There have been a few events where Lotus seems to have been the most represented make in attendance.

They are also running TWS CW on Nov 7th Al. There is also a 1 day DE out at H2R on Nov 14th if you want to try the 2-11 out there. |

I have a vintage race weekend the second week of Nov and signed up for the day at Grandsport. The latter being just for fun and a chance to whoop up on some F cars. The weekend at TWS is going to be a tough cookie to sell to the significant other and the check book, especially with Christmas right around the corner. I definitely would like to be there, will just have to wait and see. |

You should get some 7-11 graphics done and maybe add a slurpie or icee one too. ![]() I'll walk over and say hi if you are out there that weekend. Will be waiting till last minute to sign up again. I just don't do well when it's wet on that 1.7 side. Maybe if my Golf suspension is done I'll bring that if it rains. Not sure yet though. |

nope, got a sweet deal on some AD07's on closeout. still have alot of tread left on the dunlops actually, but they're really worn on the inside edges of the fronts, running -2.5 and .16 total toe out. really excited to be back at cresson it's my favorite track, last time there was march of last year.

So this is looking like it may actually happen. Just put new tires on and am getting complete corner balance and alignment Saturday. I've read the FAQ for the event orgs but didn't see anything about allowing non-instructor passengers. I'm guessing no, but I've run with a couple of other groups that did allow it, so I'd thought I'd ask.

Sorry, but until the Golf is done with suspension and brakes I won't sign up for a Cresson event before 10 days prior. Not worth me paying $600 for the weekend to not drive in the rain.
I'm up for the 3.1 or 1.7CW though, been a while since I've driven out there. So as long as it's clear skies 10 days out I'm in! We putting anything in for club affiliation to try and get the group discount? |

I cannot believe you guys are afraid of the rain in a Lotus. They do great it the rain - the ABS is perfect for finding the transitions from dry to wet line in brake zones and the power and rear weigh bias actually allow for decent traction on the exits. Of course you need to have the car pointed straight for any significant braking or acceleration events, but it is a hoot to get wheelspin in a car that ordinarily can't do that.
MSR (the 1.7 portion anyway) is very slick in the wet on the dry line, but is an excellent chance to work on car control at lower speeds. You'd be amazed how much more comfortable you are at the limit in the dry if you take the time to gather the car back up time after time in the wet. Also, if you ever want to drive a high horsepower car, the wheelspin experience is going to be valuable. I actually make special trips to MSR when I know it is going to be a soaking rain to drive wet. |
