I was wondering this as well. I guess the San Antonio guys have to go to the Austin Lotus dealership?

Plackslayer takes his evora there and I've heard nothing but good things from him. I've only called and chatted with Michelle there and she seems really nice. Also gotten some parts from Hunter who helpful as well.

Dropped my 05 off at Lotus of Plano this morning; expected turn around time was 2 days they said. They also told me that I may or may not want to do the Electronic VIN recall because some people have had problems, so I thought that was nice that they gave me the option.
This being the first time I've ever visited that location, so far my impression was good. |

Just had my 06 in for the oil line recall at Park Place Lotus of Plano. Dropped it off 2.18.2013 at 7:30am, picked it up at 5:30'ish pm. They talked me out of the ECU reflash (for now, until I can research it a bit). Will go underneath for a look-see this coming weekend. They wouldn't let me go in and have a look at it while the cam was off or take pictures of it, so I guess they took it off. I didn't have time to inspect it, but a quick walk around goods good. They did dump the EMS for me, which is the first time I've been able to get this done. I've tried two other locations in the past and they couldn't do it, so that's great!

Had my '05 Elise of Plano in late January for the oil line recall, also told me it was not worth doing the ECU recall. I'm not worried that since I've not had any issues with getting the car inspected just recently or ever.
Spoke with the tech for a bit when I went to pick her up, he was very knowledgeable about the process and made me feel very comfortable about getting the oil line recall done correctly. He noted that he didn't have any issues with the oil coolers. She's was track tested out at MSR at the early Feb TDE event. Since I am now confident in the oil lines, I drove her harder at the track than I have in quiet sometime . Then with almost 300 track sessions on the car before the recall, all my oil lines never showed any issues . The tech even gave me back the hose clamps I put on all the fittings, as just something to help with keep my hoses in the suspect fittings . The tech said my car looked really good for all the track time I've put on her. Reminds me of that old Hethel Lotus guy at LOG 26 who told me I was going to destroy my car driving it this hard at the track, hey that's how we roll in TX . Maybe he already knew the oil lines were crap then ...Going to change my tranny oil again soon, so I'll take another close look at all the new fittings and clamps to see how they all look. I've put about 1200 mile and 3 track sessions at MSR 3.1 on the car since the the recall. Be great if this car lasts forever ... Well, hope you all have good experience with Lotus of Plano too .
