Does this include a drive?

How long will it last? I may drive down from Austin.

I'm sure a drive can be arranged. I was planning on going to H2R that day. Maybe I'll stop by the gathering, do a drive, then hit the track. I'd love to see a Q1 in person finally.

Last month people stuck around until 10:30. But most cars stay for a good hour and a half. The S2000 guys normally do go for a drive afterwards.

Well my first event and I was the only Lotus there. I stayed from 8:15 until about 9:45.

Good turn out, probably about 50 or 60 different cars. From the British world, there was myself, a Triumph TR250, a MGC, a 69 MGB and a 1938 MG.

Who was the grey Elise I passed on I-35 around noon on the way to the track? I was in the Yellow Elise.

...I-35 inbound?..

...i was on 1604 passing I-35 around noon, heading east, but never on I-35 proper...i don't remember seeing a yellow elise, but i was fighting solar exhaustion at the time and pretty oblivious to everything around me...

...i pulled into wal-mart along the way to buy an emergency cap, and gosh is their selection abysmal - i ended up picking up a super-dorky AC/DC cap because i figured i could give it to my SO's father afterward, since they're his favorite band...

We were both going outbound on 35 (me to track in San Marcos, don't know where the other one was going). We waved and drove along side each other for a little while.

...definitely not me, and i don't believe there was a grey elise at cars and coffee, either - just green, yellow, and my own titanium...

Looks like they're planning on an early one for this month, due to Halloween being on the last Saturday. I look forward to seeing some of you all on the 24th!
