Texas World Speedway MSC HPDE July 25 & 26, 2009

I am about to sign up. Is there anyone else who is planning to make this event?

I'm planning on bringing the Stohr Formula 1000 to this track weekend. It will be fun to see how the F1000 does outside of a race environment.

These are some videos from my last race at Texas World Speedway -

Alex,

You might want to check with the organizers of the HPDE. Most do not allow open wheel cars in with the pack for safety reasons. The Stohr is in a completely different class and most HPDE drivers are not used to running with an open wheeler in their midst.
If it's okay by them,, be very very careful as you have a distinct disadvantage when on the course at the same time as closed wheelers.
FYI, in vintage racing they will not mix the two together.

The TWS-Motorsports Club does allow open wheelers to run with the door cars in the advanced run group.

Okay, but still a damn scary concept if you ask me.

Good luck and keep your eyes very open.

Ive run with open wheelers on track and it has not been a problem. The key is if your in the open wheeler to not really get on someones butt and startle them.
