I am handling the sign up and registration for my group.

If you would, send payment to sfordhamATaolDOTcom with message that it is for this event.

If I went, this would be the first time I've been to the track.

What kind of preparations would I need to make? And would I need a membership or just the 180 fee?

1. Excellent. This is a day for beginners. We'll have a 1st time Lamborghini driver as well!

2. If you will bring your car by sometime the week prior to the event, I would be more than happy to go over the track inspection checklist with you, No charge obviously!
ALSO:
a. Tires and brakes above 50% on the Lotus
b. Brake flush current, cheap insurance to just do it anyways though.
c. Remove all loose items from car, garage door openers, radar detectors, sun glasses, loose change, etc.
d. tire gauge
e. Bottled Water
f. ETC

3. Just the $180.00

I am sure others will chime in, but there is not that much at this level you will need.

You will need a helmet, which you may rent from MSR for a few dollars a day.

Let Me Know if I may help, if you want to stop by, we can check the car out in advance, check tires, etc...

PP has been working best for me and tracking everyone, but check/cash is fine too.

When you say half tires on Lotus...

...you mean mostly bald RA1 tires are okay, right? I mean that's just about when they start to get good!
