2008 New jersey auto x season thread

well i have a bit of time here so, i will add as new dates are available.

* more information refer to PA's AutoX Page *

**to those who have never done an auto x, it is a safe and controlled environment to explore handling and performance characteristics of your lotus. often several other lotus enthusiastic attend every event and will happily walk you thought the registration and car prep process. each auto x course is designed with safety in mind. max speeds are kept under 50 mph, and most of the run happens at 30-40(which is plenty fast!) there is nothing to hit if your car spins wildly, (well other then cones) and i have hit many! a cone with no ill effect! if your on the fence, come out and watch a few runs.**

*** re the NE motor sports auto x schools. a great day with as many as 40 runs. organized and a good time well worth the 100$ however they fill up in hours limited to 16 cars. strongly recommended register early!***

****SCDA HRM track days, Hunting Ridge Motorsports provides catering and track side support at all Lime Rock and Watkins Glen events. "SCDA events provide the Lotus Enthusiast, the chance to enjoy his or her Lotus on some of the best tracks in the Northeast. Participants can expect four on track drive sessions and two classroom sessions at each event. One on one in car instruction is available for Novice Drivers"****

Now if you're autocrossing, you'll definitely need that big brake kit!

Haha...I can imagine! We've definitely got to go for a run one of these days! Hopefully the weather's finally turning, huh?

I'm going to have a Cali member shoot over to Rotora's facility to do a test fit on the front upgrade AND have them take measurements with which to produce a rear kit as well! I'll keep everyone posted on this, as I'm sure not too many people would want to change their stock wheels.

That's the one! I guess I didn't realize you were spinning there despite the the two cones on the ground

There's a couple pics of you driving my car. You can see the blue gloves on the wheel.

Dudes, dudes, dudes.....

You guys let a VW gti, a boxter, a mazda miata and a 400 lb M5 beat your times.

You have shamed us all.

Just kidding, of course.

Hey, we didn't get to walk the course!

These autocrosses are just so competitive. Where's the Mercury Grand Marquis that always kicks our asses?
