Boston - Where to watch the F1 Brazilian GP?
Hey all,
Wondering if anyone ever meets up to watch Formula 1? The Brazilian GP is in at a reasonable hour and it's as good an excuse as any to get together, drink some beers and enjoy the race... I'm new to the Boston area but happy to help organize. Any interest?

Sure. Plan it and I'll send it out to the local mailing list. NELLI would be interested as well.

Excellent...
I'm sure we'll be hard pressed to find any bar that's willing to show the race when there's football on... so there's a few options: 1. Go to F1 Boston - never been, but i hear they've got a lounge/bar with TVs. Plus we could get a few races of our own in beforehand. 2. Someone knows an obscure bar that caters to race fans more than NFL fans. 3. I'd be happy to host, but my apartment isn't that big and I'm not sure if it's convenient for people (I'm in Somerville). I'm leaning towards option 1, but open to other ideas if people are interested. I'll give F1 Boston a call this afternoon to get more info.

F1 Boston is probably your best bet, especially since the race starts at noon. They have a decent bar area with plenty of room, I don't recall the tv setup. I'll be watching this at home with f1.com telemetry, yelling at Button for throwing it all away.
