I am exhausted after today...must have driven over 200 miles. I also look like a tomato.
We were way late to the winery run, but we didn't miss the Mclaren F1 and Ferrari F50 Even got to hear them leave and rev their beautiful engines.I wish I could have dynoed, but I was concerned for my car's health. Right now it's running perfectly. I'll dyno next time ![]()

That's why it's important to do dyno days so we can compare cars to one another.

Apparently this is one of these dyno's that reads higher than average....for NA cars.
The numbers for SC cars were low however: approx. 210WHP

NA, Supercharged or Turbo'd wont really make a difference, it reads only one way.
i checked the AFR's on those Sc'd cars and the afr's ranged and were not optimal for max power, plus it was a warm day and the more pulls the cars did the hotter they got and the less power they made so that had a lot to do with it too. |

my max was 208.9 not happy with that. plus my A/F was way way rich, in the low 11s. ugh. post more after my shower, this was a long day!
edit, post pics, top 3 are mine, bottom 2 are stock cars. Last edited by exarkun1178 : 05-17-2008 at 07:03 PM. |

I think my brother and I got a little color too. And I think Exarukun had the longest drive. I think he had another 50 miles on me, but I think we drove about 325 or so. Worth seeing the F50 and Mclaren.
Also, driving thru NYC across midtown sucks when trying to get onto the Lincoln tunnel when some of the streets are closed. Next time we shouldn't fly by the exit we're suppose to get off. Sorry, I thought it was on the left side. Although I almost got 2 girls to jump in the car with me. Anywayz: Stock, a/r, 05 elise with stage ii exhaust and de-snorkeled. From the Dyno Dynamics Dynamometer... Max power = 180.2 HP at 7950 revs. Max torque = 127 ft.lb at 7300 revs.

All dyno's read differently from each other. Stick 2 of those Dyno Dynamic machines next to each other and run the same car on both of them and they will each give different #'s as an example...
